We had our intimate wedding ceremony & reception here about 2 weeks ago. Their function room allowed us enough capacity for those close to our hearts. And ever since we visited their Podium branch, we fell in love with their menu. I would highly recommend having your ceremony & reception at their San Juan Mabini branch. Ms. Mechelle, their branch manger, is very accommodating. She’s hands on, even during the day itself and supervises her staff properly. Super worth it!
LOLA Cafe - Mabini is one of the locations of LOLA Cafe, offering a variety of modern Filipino cuisine and fusion dishes. It is situated at A. Mabini St. Barangay Addition Hills, San Juan City. We tried some of their dishes like Kare-Kare Bagoong Rice and Shrimp Aligue. I love their Long Black Coffee that goes with Ube Keso de bola Cheesecake. The cafe is also known for its intimate celebration packages, making it a great choice for events like birthdays and anniversaries. All the staffs that we encountered are all polite and smiling. We've been here October 1, 2025.
. This pet-friendly spot offers al fresco dining, making it a great choice for those who want to enjoy a meal with their furry companions. The menu features Filipino dishes with a creative twist, yet it maintains a casual and approachable vibe—nothing too fancy. Solo meals are reasonably priced, ranging around P300, while dishes meant for sharing range from P400 (pansit, sisig) to P1500. A standout item is their 8-piece tiger prawns in a rich crab fat sauce, a delightful and flavorful option that’s sure to satisfy, and their truffle ox tongue. Perfect for both solo diners and groups looking to explore modern takes on classic Filipino flavors.
Yesterday we celebrated a very special milestone…my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary at Lola Café Mabini and I couldn’t be more grateful for the experience they gave us. the team went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. They really tried their best to accommodate all our requests and it meant so much to us. Special mention to Michelle, the Manager who was absolutely amazing. She was so attentive to the needs of our guests and handled everything excellently. Her positive energy was truly contagious and helped set a beautiful tone for the entire celebration. The whole staff was a joy to be around… always smiling and genuinely happy to serve. You can really feel the good vibes in this place. And of course, the food was delicious…every dish was really good. I highly, highly recommend Lola Cafe Mabini for any special occasion or even just a lovely meal out. They made a very meaningful day even more memorable for our family and for that, we are so thankful.

We had visited different branches of Lola Cafe, but we instantly fell in love with the Mabini branch. The glass walls gave the place such an elegant touch, and they made our wedding photos turn out so beautifully. (see attached photos) We had 100 guests and booked the whole restaurant. Everyone was seated comfortably and it never felt cramped. Mechelle, the manager, was very accommodating. She let us store our cake, sponsors’ items, and guest souvenirs the night before the wedding, so we didn’t have to think about it on the actual day. That really took a load off our minds. After the wedding, we made sure to ask our guests for feedback, and almost everyone complimented how pleasant and approachable the staff were. Makita ka lang ng staff na tumingin ka sa kanila, automatic they’ll ask you right away what you need and make sure you’re well taken care of. Here are some of our guests’ feedback: “Commend pala sa roast beef, pumpkin soup and baked scallops.” “Super accommodating ng manager!” “Very attentive sila, Pat! Food is very delicious.” “The food and service is exquisite! They always monitor and ask what you need. May mga wine reco pa sila!” “Ang babait ng staff sa Lola Cafe, Pat! All smiles and very courteous. You won’t be intimidated to request for anything.” In short: topnotch service, delicious food, and a beautiful venue! Special thanks to Mechelle, who made sure everything was running smoothly from start to finish. She’s so funny and easy to get along with, just like the whole Lola Cafe staff. Kasundo niya lahat, not just our guests pati suppliers namin. Mechelle made sure each and every guest was treated like VIP. They even have parking assistants na malaking tulong for guests. For the afterparty, we just dimmed the lights and turned the place into a dance floor. Everyone had so much fun, it was the perfect way to end the night, and Lola Cafe's atmosphere made it feel effortless. Mechelle and her team really went above and beyond, leaving a lasting impression on everyone. If you’re still thinking twice, just contact Mechelle or pay a quick visit to Lola Cafe Mabini, you’ll see and feel for yourself why we chose it for our wedding =)
Lola Cafe Mabini was the perfect venue for our intimate celebration. The indoor space was comfortably spacious for around 70 guests, and parking was hassle-free. Ms. Mechelle, the events manager, made the planning smooth as she was incredibly accommodating and consistently responsive to our requests and inquiries. Last but not least, our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food as it was outstanding.
We tried the kare-kare (yummy!), chicken adobado (sauce was on the sour side & chicken was overcooked), and kesong puti cheesecake (nice texture but oks lang din). They have lots of interesting-looking dishes so we'll definitely go back. Overall, we had a lovely and memorable time here. The crew was professional and attentive (masyadong intense lang yung isang waiter who helped us with bill payment hahaha), despite there being a big group who was noisy and took a long time to leave :)))
